When we have a visit, it is focused on you. I leave ample time so you can tell me about your condition, the trials and tribulations you have, your frustrations with and the functional goals you are trying to get out of care. We are here to deliver you the results you want. Whether you are dealing with insurmountable pain, a health condition that is affecting you drastically, or you simply want to feel more energy and reduce stress, we take your condition seriously. What you want is important for us so we can design a plan of treatment and deliver the care you are expecting. You may not have such a dramatic story. You may just want to feel more relaxed, have more energy, or better sleep and lose some weight. We take your specific health conditions seriously.
Anything you can tell us to understand more about your health condition, will help us better tailor the treatments to your condition. If we feel we cannot help you we will be honest and tell you.
We realize that if you’ve never had acupuncture before, the whole process can feel a bit intimidating or “weird”. No one is used to being given more than a perfunctory physical and then shuttled out of the room in 8 minutes. We spend the time we need to understand the bigger picture so we can get the best results for you. It is a different kind of healthcare experience.

Your First Visit
Please consider that new patients will be given 30-minutes to an hour. Please schedule only if you are really intending to keep the treatment.
If you are unable to make a call, the courtesy of 24-hour cancellation is required. If you find out in less than 24 hours, then please call us.
A no-show for a visit will incur a $60 late fee assessed to your account.
If you are running late (things happen), we ask that you call us. We will try to fit you in if the schedule is not packed.
When you come in, please keep your voice down, as there are other people being treated.
If you are intending to use insurance, we request that you provide us with your information so we can “vet” your insurance and find out the benefits of your insurance on our end, so there are no surprises in the event of not covering your services.
If you are coming in for a follow-up treatment, we ask, if possible, to come in 5 minutes before to allow for any payment and scheduling before your visit. We attempt to minimize the wait time for you so you can spend more time getting treatment rather than waiting!
